Mountaineer Contractors performs many different highway projects. Our primary customer is the West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT), specifically, the West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH), generating over $250 million in the last decade. Our projects cover a broad area of construction, from widening a small intersection to a large upgrade of a two-lane to a three-lane roadway, which include the relocation of utilities, implementation of traffic patterns, and coordination with multiple subcontractors, utility companies, and public officials.
